Day 1
April 5- April 6
The weather was perfect for starting our grand RV adventure out to Utah with our little furry side kick, Tucker riding shotgun. Day 1, we travelled 250 miles west across the NYS Thruway to Le Roy, NY, home of the Jell-O Museum and Gallery, which sadly was not open until Friday. We arrived at Jam @ the Ridge campground, not the most appealing of places, around 4pm. Upon setting up, we discovered rather quickly that we were super rusty on our communication skills. I should have Rich straightened out by the end of the week😁 We relaxed for the evening and Rich watched the NCAA finals. After a chilly night, we woke up early and headed out to hike Buttermilk Falls, a short distance south on the Oatka Creek. After having to trespass on a farmers property for about a half mile down stream we found it. We were really surprised by the size and beauty of the falls. We really wanted to venture down to the bottom, but decided to stay safe admiring it from above. After, we headed back, packed up and got back on the road by 10 and headed for Deer's Leap Winery in Geneva, Ohio.

Le Roy, NY

We left a day early and headed to Le Roy, NY so we had a hook up to dewinterize the campler

The co-pilot wide awake!

Most campers are staying here for the local work. Check out the old ski lift poles.

All the small side falls were really cool.

Road bridge just before the falls.

We would have loved to climb down below.

Look down stream. Its' a pretty steep drop.
